Optimizing resources for rapid progression of Sohar and Duqm projects
The involvement of Ärk in the projects conducted in Sohar, Oman were threefold. Ärk provided its contribution to the Sohar Phase III 1714.9MW Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Power Plant project by offloading cargo of 215, 000 freight tons and transportation of the cargo from the Sohar Port to the construction site.
The Sohar III Power Plant is one of the two natural gas-fired combined cycle power plants that are located in Northern Oman. Ärk contributed to the mega project by offloading and transporting cargo of 210, 000 tons / four items of 1516.5 MW from the Sohar Port to the construction site.
Ärk also provided door-to-door services including offloading of 1719 MW, 210,000 CBM cargo and transporting it from the Sohar / Duqm Ports to the construction sites of the Sohar III IPP Power Plant.
